The latest from Landcatch Chile
Alan Stewart, Business Development Director of Landcatch will deliver a presentation as part of the International Initiatives session on Thursday April 19. Mr Stewart is expected to report on developments with Landcatch Chile, the latest from the Chilean market and overseas opportunities in general.
Alan Stewart joined Landcatch, part of the Lithgow Group, 26 years ago, initially working for the company's land-based salmon production business at Ormsary on the Argyll coast. Today, with Landcatch Scotland, Landcatch Chile and Landcatch Natural Selection (LNS) all playing various parts in the dedicated breeding and production of salmon eggs and smolts for customers around the world, his role as Business Development Director includes a strong international focus. Although still based in his native Argyll, Alan is therefore just as much at home in Puerto Montt, Chile, often exchanging the delights of a Scottish winter for the charms of a Chilean summer in order to ensure that Landcatch eggs and smolts remain fully in tune with local needs and requirements.
Aquaculture Today thanks Alan Stewart and LNS, our sponsors, for their continued support.
